  Part of the New Digital Business Technology division at BBVA, which leverages new technologies to diversify the bank activity towards future business models. I mainly did research on machine learning from an applied perspective, while giving diverse talks and courses focused on applied mathematics. I was also a team member with a critical role in the design and implementation of a productive, novel cloud-based antifraud system for a mexican company. Additionally, I also worked in the creation of intelectual property, having achieved one patent application in the area of algorithmic trust in distributed systems.   We do research on machine learning and multi-agent systems. Our main lines now are related to deep generative models and reinforcement learning in a distributed context. Also we are interested in the use of stochastic dynamic game theory in different related contexts.- Developed and implemented a novel framework for fully decentralized generative adversarial networks (GANs). The implementations were made in Python using Tensorflow and the code will be publicly available on github. Up to the best of our knowledge, this was the first work to propose such framework.- Conducted research on large scale network stochastic control and defence via mean field theory and new approaches to jamming games.- Developed a framework to solve discrete-time stationary mean field games via approximate dynamic programming in Matlab.- Developed continuous-time Open Loop control tools in Matlab based on Pontryagin or functional projected gradient descent approaches.- Developed a novel framework for POMDP problems based on infinite-dimensional approximation theory with implementation in Matlab.- Published papers on international conferences (EUSIPCO,SSP)

  I built a tactical, wide-band modem for ionospheric communications that will be used to increase security and quality of HF signal transmission in low SNR environments.- Designed the modem structure and specifications.- Applied optimal (Wiener) filtering theory in stochastic scenarios with real data.- Designed, implemented and compared different spreading codes for CDMA transmission.- Applied and implemented convolutional coding with maximum likelihood soft-decoding with MAP criterion through the use of likelihood ratios. Compared hard and soft approaches and computational complexity.- Simulated a real HF channel and it's effect on the transmission via linear time variant system theory.- Decisions on all the design aspects such as diversity in space or frequency, modulation, codes, etc.
