      Over a period of two years I worked for Delcoro BVBA, a Pizza Hut franchisee, as the manager of the Izegem branch. It was a great job with a fair level of responsibility and autonomy, which has taught me skills that are essential in a work environment where deadlines, teamwork, communication and problem solving are of great importance. My primary responsibilities consisted of personnel management, general administration and inventory, general maintenance of the property and assets, and customer communications. My secondary responsibilities consisted mostly of supporting production and sales. In addition, this experience has given me a good first interaction with data processing, as I regularly conducted finance based research, in which I categorised all earnings and expenditures of the branch per category (type of sale, types wages, repairs, supplies, etc.). This allowed me to present a financial oversight of the owner in which the monthly profits and profit margins where presented in a orderly fashion, alongside the evolution of monthly earnings and expenditures (per category), which in turn allowed me to make suggestions on ways to systemically increase the monthly profit margin. Finally, this experience has taught me the skills necessary to coordinate the deferent aspects of the daily workings of a company branch. These skills are transferable to organizing events, where I would need to efficiently manage vendors, logistics, attendees, and the overall experience. That is why this experience is a great foundation for planning, executing, and managing events of all types and sizes. Show less
