From the ne­ces­sity to al­low au­di­ences, ages, gen­res and sub­cul­tures to co­ex­ist, SEXY­LAND evolved into SEXY­LAND World. With a dif­fer­ent ‘own­er’ every day for the last 3 years, SEXY­LAND has ful­filled an ur­gent need in the city: a stage for every­one, es­tab­lished and start­ing. Where ex­per­i­men­ta­tion and fail­ure and the process rather than the re­sult are para­mount. The ul­ti­mate goal is to con­nect mak­ers and vis­i­tors from Am­s­ter­dam’s multi-coloured com­mu­nity to ex­per­i­ment, make, do and be who you are.

  (DJ) Sant Jordi, Jordi Ariza Gallego, is an Amsterdam based artist/producer. Better know as one of the captains of UltraSexi, the production house which produce (queer) nightlife parties such as FPQ & M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. In 2015 he started to go behind the turntables himself. Filling the dance floors with his favorite homo-electic tunes, seamlessly floating with grace between eras and genres. (DJ) Sant Jordi, Jordi Ariza Gallego, is an Amsterdam based artist/producer.   M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. was an extremely successful monthly night at Studio 80 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Visited by the young artistic Avant-garde and fashion scene of Amsterdam.This night was first organized on August 5th 2005 at the Gay pride Amsterdam. Its aim was to give of a signal, indicating that there is more than the monocultures of the straight, gay and lesbian world. From the start the party has had healthy mix of people from various backgrounds and sexual orientation’s.The nights where always developed with an underlying theme, which is enlarged through satire. We love to see our guests as playful children and their artistic playing is highly appreciated.M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. had his last night at the 4th of June 2011 with the theme: “M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. forever”.Responsibilities: (Door)host, Decoration, Promotion & Acts.

  The Amsterdam Museum called upon the people of Amsterdam to nominate black role models: writers, politicians, rappers, or even their next door neighbour or the local football coach. Guest curator Imara Limon worked together with the museum to make a selection from all those nominated. From 7 October to 13 November the museum is hosting a range of activities on themes such as representation and the question: ‘What is black?’ The programme for this year's Museum Night on 5 November is also on the theme ‘Black Amsterdam’.
