As a UX Design Fellow at General Assembly, I had the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to complete four real-world design projects. We implemented the Double Diamond Design Process to dig into user research and figure out the root-cause of real-world problems and then collaborate to ideate solutions for the root issue(s). We utilized research methods, such as: business analysis, competitive and comparative analysis, user and stakeholder interviews, surveys, and more. From there, we created affinity maps to find trends, and conducted design studios to ideate solutions! Fellows created responsive mobile-first interface designs using Figma software and presented our stories to colleagues, instructors, and stakeholders with Microsoft PowerPoint Presentations. -Utilized the design process to empathize with users and develop solutions to meet their needs -Implemented various research methods, including: user interviews, card sorts, surveys, contextual inquiry, and competitive and comparative analysis, in order to understand and empathize with users -Leveraged Microsoft Excel to perform task analysis and convert results to visual flow diagrams. -Synthesized research by creating affinity maps, user journeys, empathy maps, and personas on the software platform Figma. -Analyzed data to develop insights on the primary motivations, needs, wants, goals, and pain points of target users -Collaborated with cross-functional teams to brainstorm innovative ideas that delight users and solve their frustrations -Created user flows and wire flows to represent customer journeys as they navigate towards a solution to their problem -Used Figma Software to build and test wireframes, and clickable prototypes -Conducted usability testing with multiple users, to iterate and improve upon design solutions -Presented findings in a clear and concise manner, to multiple audiences, including design teams, clients, and stakeholders Show less

On a normal day basis, I worked alongside 2 to 3 other technicians repairing phones, tablets, laptops, and basically anything that has a power button. I personally was just getting started before I moved up to Pennsylvania, however I do learn quickly and became very good at repairing Apple phones and knew a good bit of knowledge about how to repair Samsung devices.
