Implement the UC approved curriculum I created as a senior English elective, “RU/LA: Understanding Culture Through Literature and Design.” Facilitate student examination of the culture of Los Angeles (ethnicity, nationality, class, spirituality, sexuality, gender) in order to gain understanding and empathy.
