  After leaving St. John's Sixth Form Sebden Steel employed me as a business administration apprenticeship through Baltic Training. In this role I have been gaining experience within the workplace and working to complete my apprenticeship. While working for Sebden I have gained experience in multiple parts of a business, I have been involved in Sales, Purchasing & Finance. I have gained experience dealing with internal and external customers. Once my apprenticeship was completed Sebden Steel then employed me full time and started to give me more responsibilities. My duties consist of supporting the sales function by dealing with external customers, supporting the finance function by ensuring customers accounts are paid on time and supporting the procurement function by scheduling materials and expediting their delivery in line with the factory requirements. While working for Sebden I created numerous documents and assisted in development systems to ensure material was ordered and delivered in line with production schedules whilst ensuring stock levels remain within a desired level. Part of this process was expediting material from suppliers to ensure production was not delayed due to late deliveries. I have conducted a number of stock takes within the warehouse. This entailed making a record of the log number, location, weight and the quality of the material currently in the warehouse and comparing this to the details within the computerised stock system.
