Leadership Greater Hartford's Ambassador Committee held its 2009 Kick-Off Meeting at the Pond House Café in Elizabeth Park. Jordan Stein, the Executive Chef, conducted a class on preparing and presenting appetizers. Jordan removed much of the mystery surrounding high-end cuisine. He showed us simple, yet creative ways to take ordinary items and turn them into extraordinary dishes. Jordan’s sense of humor and passion for food were amazing. I highly recommend that anyone who happens to be in the Greater Hartford area stop by and sample the menu at the Pond House.
