Along with my fellow leaders, I lead a weekly Bible study. This role requires strong time management and administrative skills, communication skills, conflict resolution skills, presentation skills, and people skills. We seek to create a safe community of Christian believers that can grow in their faith, grow in their character, and serve in their community with one another. As our final graduation project, my teammates and I worked closely with engineers at Paradigm Metals Inc. to create a simulation of the manufacturing facility, identify bottlenecks in the system, and use industrial engineering practices to reduce the effects of those bottlenecks. Through this project, we’ve found a solution that can increase sales by over $1,000,000 per year while also implementing 5S principles to make the facility more efficient, safe, and sustainable. As a member of the Disney College Program, I was a one of a select group of college students who got to live and work on Disney property for a semester. In my time here, I took an HR class from Disney professionals and was offered a more advanced position in my park area because of my aptitude and leadership.
