  One year industrial placement, working from the Dyer&Butler Rail Office based in Wimbledon, predominately as a Site Engineer. Gained valuable experience working on various projects, such as: • The Construction of Road Rail Vehicle (RRV) Access Points in the Sussex Region • The Ladbroke Grove Over-Bridge Refurbishment in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea • Holland Lane East & Grants Over-Bridge Replacements situated in Oxted, Surrey awarded by Network Rail as part of the 'Southern Infrastructure Project'. Working on these projects entailed a wide range of roles & responsibilities for myself which included the following: • Site Supervision and Management ensuring the smooth and safe progression of construction tasks. • Attending design meetings. • Managing and maintaining the Health & Safety of the construction site in accordance with up to date regulations. • Liaising and communicating with internal and external parties including the clients. • Daily safety and task briefings to all present and working on site. • Procurement of materials, tools, equipment and plant. • Programming of the project. • Production of work methodology including Work Package Plans (WPP) and Task Briefing Sheets (TBS). • Managing all relevant project paperwork on site keeping it up to date. • Pre-construction site investigation tasks.
