I completed a level 2 apprenticeship, starting at age 16. I developed my skillset on motor vehicles carrying out simple things such as servicing and brake pad replacements, I then developed into fitting clutches, gear boxes, timing belts and numerous other engine components. Alongside this I furthered my skill set into fault diagnosis using tools such as snap on machines, multi meter testers and VCDS. Furthermore, I achieved licenses in things such as operating an air conditioning machine and various other pieces of machinery. After successfully completing my apprenticeship, I was taken on as a full-time mechanic. Under my own initiative I attended a course with Alien Tech and gained the ability to use remapping tools. Using alien Tech software; and K-Tag tools, various bench ECU tools and OBD tools and developed my own side to the business. I have accumulated over 3 years of experience inside of a working garage and have a solid foundation of knowledge to how a garage operates. Show less

I worked with the Kevin mills racing team for the full week competing in the 2022 Walter Hayes Trophy running spectrums in the national formula ford festival. I worked as a float number two mechanic on 3 cars. carrying out things such as refuelling, tyre pressures, doing the pit board during testing sessions, cleaning and taking off body work, set downs and various preparation work over the week. I worked alongside the number one mechanics carrying out jobs and tasks under their supervision and instructions. During this week I gained a good understanding on how a race weekend works from the various testing and practise sessions to qualifying and the races. We achieved a p2 (Michael Eastwell) and p4 (Tom mills) finish over the course of the weekend out of 120 competitors. Show less
