This non-profit organization serves children with cancer and their families with academic, social, and emotional support. I work both with the administration side as well as with the clients they serve. Helping to put together events such as a smile celebration. These events brings about smiles not only for the children and their families but for the staff and now for me as I get to experience helping to create as well as being able to watch it unfold. Children with cancer are the true hero’s and I am so fortunate that I get to be apart of this wonderful non-profit organization. Show less

I volunteered with both inpatient outpatient children. I was in the inpatient cardiology wing and the outpatient radiology wing. I was there to play games, allow parents to take a break, clean and sanitize the toys. I was also allowed to hold the babies who needed human contact to help them grow and thrive.
