  In the capacity of business editor, I collaborate with one business reporter to identify stories of interest in the communities we cover that fit into the business scope of our section that prints in the weekend edition. In the capacity of weekend editor, I oversee one weekend reporter to ensure continued coverage of our community, monitor numerous channels for any breaking news, edit stories written by the weekend reporter, prepare Monday’s print edition budget for fellow editors and paginators, take responsibility for the publication of all online content on weekends and serve as the point person for any customer service concerns that occur on Saturdays and Sundays. In the capacity of copy editor and paginator, I utilize my knowledge of Adobe Suite to lay out pages for several of our weekday editions as well as design more than a dozen pages of the weekend edition, edit content written by reporters, proof pages laid out by fellow paginators and coordinate with our press room to ensure a consistently smooth printing process that meets deadline.
