Jay took over as producer for our Data-Driven Marketer podcast. We didn’t work together for too long, but in that time she proved to be one of the best producer/project managers I’ve ever worked with. We had some tricky, specific requirements, and I valued her creative thinking in helping us manage those requirements. Jay doesn’t miss a detail, never dropped a ball, and was always an absolute joy to work with. Others have already said this, but Jay IS inspiring and exceptional, she’ll excel in any people-facing role, and I’m happy to recommend her.

It is with utmost pleasure that I recommend Jay Alford! She is an incredible leader who possesses all the qualities that you could want from an employee. As her acting manager for seven months, and as a colleague for over a year, she has my full confidence with her positive, spunky attitude and self-starting work ethic. Her warmth and friendliness has been noted by many on the Sweet Fish team and in her customer relationships. During her tenure at Sweet Fish, she owned the result for over 15 podcasts, primarily being accountable for the post-production detailed processes. She also has experience in the numerous details of launching podcasts, as well as, voice over and hosting roles. Her skills developed in the podcasting industry are directly transferrable to all customer success related roles since her primary objective was to help equip and maintain B2B podcasts. Jay's ability to love people well is a true highlight. Her heart, care and empathy for others was demonstrated constantly with her involvement with our team members from conversations and encouragement on slack to opening up the floor for discussions on team meetings. She continually pressed for clarity, and clarity is kindness. Her drive to never stop learning was evident by taking initiative to research topics to study, volunteering for presentations to share what she learned, and encouraging others to do the same. Most notable was her desire to increase her understanding of personal finances, habit formation, and DEI topics. It's with greatest sadness that unfortunate circumstances saw her tenure at Sweet Fish cut short. Not only have you found a gem of an employee, you have found someone you can remarkably trust. She has an incredible career ahead of her and would prove to be an asset anywhere she wants. I am happy to answer any follow up questions!
