      As a Pi Kappa Phi our mission is "To create an uncommon and lifelong brotherhood that develops leaders and encourages service to others for the betterment of our communities." My Sophomore year I took my first leadership role in college being elected to the executive board as Secretary. I served as the communication between our local chapter and the national organization, as well as the communication between our executive board to the chapter members. I was later appointed social chairmen. During this time I created, managed, budgeted, and marketed over 30 events reaching up to 500 people and raising over $1000 in charitable funds. These events included: -Dinners with other greek organizations requiring food preparation and catering coordination. -House parties which required communication and approval through the school's Inter-fraternal councel as well as a great deal of risk management and safety procedures. -Concerts at local venues which required cooperation between the Venue, Production team, and the artists. I budgeted and planned everything from the stage design to the marketing flyers; with the help and council of my collaboration team. Show less
