  Working as the Stock Controller for Seafood Pub Company, it is my responsibility to oversee the stock management of 11 venues situated across Lancashire and Yorkshire. Liaising with the 11 venues on a daily basis, I ensure effective stock management is adhered to at a group level, ensuring each venue maximises sales. Regular stock counts is a fundamental aspect of my role, ensuring that we monitor stock levels across the business to mitigate any potential issues that may arise that will directly affect trade. I frequently hold meetings with general managers, assistant managers and the wider team for further training and developing on managing stock, as well as working with each venue closely to further improve effective stock handling. As part of my role, I have implemented a new stock management system that has given the business greater control and visibility for further optimising the efficiency of the business and the way we handle stock.
