Jordan was an intern for me at Phoenix House. He wrote copy for newsletters—both internal and external—and the company intranet. He always turned in amazing copy that needed very minimal editing in a very short amount of time. Jordan also managed our Mailchimp database for the summer and did thorough research to ensure each person's entry was complete and accurate. Jordan would be a great asset to any team!

I spent valuable time helping a startup Artificial Intelligence company grow its footprint, both internally and externally. I constantly tested its systems and reported bugs directly to the founder/CEO so that it constantly improved, and helped come up with ideas to get more people aware of the brand and increase its social media presence. I gathered information on media members and organizations relevant to the company's mission and drafted outreach emails and social media posts to be sent out regarding the AI system itself, and even hosted Twitch streams where I and fellow interns discussed AI scenarios both between us and with supervisors. I was able to closely align myself with multiple big-name clients in the tech world, particularly Dell. My work allowed me to immerse myself in corporate communications and assist Dell executives by crafting summaries of articles relevant to their values, drafting social media posts, and researching on events they could attend. I wrote backgrounders on reporters, made a newsletter complete with photographs, and maintained multiple media lists. I received great feedback that indicated that the clients were quite happy with my work! Show less

I wrote for the Daily Targum, Rutgers' student newspaper, for over two years, writing over 100 articles covering a multitude of sports. I covered men's track and field, men's cross-country, women's softball, women's field hockey, women's basketball, and women's lacrosse. I interviewed many players and coaches, went to many games, and often had to write a story immediately after the game on a one-hour deadline. My articles were re-tweeted by the official team Twitter accounts. I interned at Phoenix House, and accomplished a variety of tasks on a day-to-day basis. I wrote articles for the internal company site, articles for company newsletters, wrote pitches directed at press members, gathered information on politicians who could attend upcoming company events, posted articles and jobs on the company Facebook page, and updated an email database with phone numbers and job descriptions. I covered Rutgers sports and the New York Yankees for this site run primarily by college students. I started by covering the Rutgers' 2016 football and men's basketball seasons, but then started to write about the Yankees when their season started. I wrote over 80 articles for the website on many different topics, and usually wrote two articles per week.
