      During my studies at the university of Salford, one of the modules was TV studio so i took up the roles of runner, Lighting Director and Sound Assistant. I would make sure everything that was needed was done as a runner. As the lighting Director I planned the lighting for the TV show and made sure the lighting was perfect on the day. During my role as sound assistant I would check that the microphone batteries were charged and ready for use. it was important to make sure that the batteries were put back on charge for the next time. I would mic up the hosts and guests ready for the practice runs and live shows. I would be in contact with the sound engineer to test the mics and check they were the right levels for the shows.
