  Have primary responsibility for a project. I conduct routine and moderately complex tissue collection/harvesting and histology procedures on preclinical toxicity studies. Records technical information according to Good Laboratory Practices and communicates findings. Writes study documentation and responds to quality assurance audit findings pertaining to primary study records. Maintains and reviews study-related documents for accuracy, creates forms and completes study notebooks. Ability to operate standard laboratory equipment (e.g. balances, autostainers, autocoverslippers, microtome, microscope). Actively and independently monitors and advances training progress and schedules training sessions, complies with applicable regulations, performing all work in a safe manner. I maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs, GLPs and policies.
