Jordan was an AWESOME recruiting partner for us at EA. Our team was challenged with hiring analytics talent in a smaller market, and he helped keep us moving forward and trying new things until we ultimately found a great fit. He also helped streamline the hiring process by staying in touch and coordinating events all the way through to our new hire's day 1 during the early days of the pandemic. Working with Jordan is a great experience -- he keeps it fun while still making things happen, and I'd absolutely choose to work with him again if given the opportunity.

Working with Jordan was a pleasure. Jordan was a partner in building a great team, not just a check-box service provider. Very organized, goal oriented and open-minded; he took creative actions to make hiring happen. While serious and professional, Jordan also used his sense of humour and wit to make challenging tasks more enjoyable and collaborative. I was impressed with how Jordan followed up after hiring to ensure new team members were cared for and performing. I'd happily work with Jordan again!

After my network reached out and convinced me to end my parental leave early, I joined Voodoo on a short term contract! Voodoo is a hypergrowth mobile games company, which uses tech platforms and analytics to drive core business strategies. I was recruited by the current Head of Technology at Voodoo, who I initially sourced and hired at EA, where we then partnered within Player Network. At Voodoo, I supported the Growth and Engineering team, with a focus on Senior Software Engineers, Backend and Fullstack in Europe. I also supported the Montreal Game Studio and Global Unity Central Technology division. Although Voodoo offered to extend my contract, I chose to pursue a new chapter with DuckDuckGo! After a decision to support my family on parental leave, I decided to return to work early after being directly recruited for one of EA’s main strategic growth initiatives. As a full-cycle 360 recruiter, for the first year I supported EAX Player Network, which owns the Origin and EA Access platforms. I later supported EA’s Central Technologies, Frostbite and Global Analytics and Insights organizations, and solely focused on Global Analytics and Insights for my final 3+ months. I was the sole Vancouver recruitment representative, working with onsite and remote team members throughout the US. I supported a large number of varied hiring managers across Canada and the US, as well as directly supporting hires for the EAX Head of Engineering and Global Analytics upper management. Supporting my growing family. I chose to leave WildBrain (formerly DHX Media) to support my family's transition period. Would have happily returned, but EA approached me before I planned to return to work with a great opportunity, which I couldn't pass up! Supporting my growing family. With a growing desire to work in-house, combined with my personal interest in animation, I joined DHX to support their 3D productions. As an episodic animation focused company, requiring large teams, as well as specialized SME’s, hires were required for strict start dates for production deadlines in meeting airing dates. I worked closely with production hiring leaders and internal HR/talent management to qualify and plan recruiting and hiring schedules. As well, I supported and influenced changes in recruitment processes, implementing a new ATS (iCIMS), and supported training and change management. • Hired 100+ headcount for production teams within 6 month hiring periods • Industry focus is on production based contract hires • Supported implementation and process training for hiring leaders of new ATS (iCIMS) and hiring processes Technologies (Main): Maya, Nuke, Python, C++, Sketch, Adobe CS, Photoshop Show less

Through relationship building and business development, I began working directly with clients in supporting their hiring needs, while continuing to support recruitment for other local accounts within Randstad. I worked closely with client hiring managers and business owners to consult and support their business recruitment needs. I also worked closely with the Randstad recruitment team to educate and share knowledge transfer around clients’ needs and requirements.Positions (Main): Software Engineers (Angular, node.js, C#, C++, Java, Python, iOS, Android), DevOps, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Director-Executive Level Show less

Following a successful year, I moved to the local team with a primary focus on Vancouver-based clients. Clients varied from small to enterprise businesses (ie Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Lululemon, HSBC, General Electric, HyperWallet, PayByPhone, Canada Drives, xMatters, MEC, London Drugs and others). I participated in client visits to better understand client needs. I supported full-time permanent hires, as well as contract hires for project specific work. As before, I owned the entire candidate experience, including follow ups. As a senior recruiter I supported training of new team members.Positions (Main): Software Engineers (Angular, node.js, C#, C++, Java, Python, iOS, Android), DevOps, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Director-Executive Level Show less

Started at Randstad on a specialized team that supported recruitment for our largest accounts nationally with companies such as IBM, Telus, and BC Hydro. These enterprise client projects most often required large team hires for contract-based work with critical deadlines for project completion. The end-clients were often enterprise level such as major banks (ie TD Bank, RBC, HSBC) and provincial government organizations (ie SaskPower, ATB Financial, ICBC, CPPIB). The recruitment team was tasked with high volume hires with a strict KPI process. I owned the entire candidate experience from initial contact through to closing the offer. We also continued to maintain scheduled communication with onsite contractors.Positions (Main): System/Network Administrators and Analysts, Project Managers, BusinessAnalysts, Software Engineers Show less
