Provided international students with assistance in understanding English language and composition skills. Assisted students with a variety of assignments—personal essays, argumentative essays, or practicing English conversational skills—to help enhance and improve their ability to comprehend the English language. Designed workshops focused on introductory college-level skills, formed a small reading/writing group with students centered around creative writing—poetry, creative nonfiction, fiction—in hopes of garnering students’ interest in diverse literature and creative writing and to further help my own pedagogical approach to teaching various kinds of students.
