My role is project lead for ACE Incubator, advisor for entrepreneurs and speaker and organizer of masterclasses. DAIF works together with these knowledge institutions to this end and connects seamlessly with their existing structures for entrepreneurship. The aim is to successfully combine the high-quality scientific knowledge that already exists, to put it into practice and to commercialize it in order to achieve a major positive social impact for the Netherlands.

  LevaLeva is a fast growing webshop for affordable Dutch design furniture based in Amsterdam. Starting as an affiliate platform for bricks & mortar furniture shop we successfully changed the strategy to a private label business model allowing us to redesign the value chain and create in a perfect fit with (online) customers needs. This resulted in healthy gross margins and a monthly growth of revenues from zero to €100k per month within two years.   Hom3decorator provides online 3D visualization software to furniture shops and manufacturers (SaaS). With Hom3decorator software consumers can easily visualize their new interior within their own living room, online & in 3D. Simply by using a photo. Hom3decorator software improves the selling process of clients by solving the problem (online) consumers have with visualization of new interior. The client base grew from zero to 50 manufacturers and furniture shops (small sized to corporates) within two years. For these clients Hom3decorator provided over 10.000 3D models to be used in Hom3deocrator 3D software. Position: CEO, investor Experiences: business development, sales, SaaS contracting (proposals, legal, integration), managing agile software development (team of internal and external (game) developers) and software integration clients In 2013 I have sold to company to Colijn IT (Dutch market leader in furniture ERP software).

  The Dutch Innovation Platform was founded by former Prime Minster Balkenende in 2003 and lasted to 2010. Its goal was to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in the Netherlands. The platform (think-tank) consisted of 19 high level representatives from the public and private sector. Position: consultant. Job description: stimulate cooperation between companies & universities and initialize ideas to improve the visibility of entrepreneurship among students. Experiences: working in complex corporate environments, advisory skills (presentations and analysis), working in and with government organizations (universities, Ministry of Economic Affairs and local governments)

  DPS services (voorheen The Nederlandse inkoopcombinatie Wegenbouw (NiCW) offers joint purchasing of materials and services for small and medium sized construction companies. Through combined purchasing NiCW realizes significant customer value in lower unit prices at a higher service level. Within a period of 9 years NiCW achieved average YOY growth of 35% resulting in a turnover in '09 of €25mln. In 2009 NiCW had a nation wide client base of over 50 construction companies and subsidiaries and over 80 purchasing contracts. Position: CEO (shared position) Experiences: sales, purchasing, business development, account management clients & suppliers, shareholder relationships. In 2009 I sold my shares to investment fund VC fund.
