  I worked as an operator of Neste Porvoo refinery’s water treatment plants. I specialized in two different precipitate plants that I operated separately. The daily work consisted of operating and controlling of the plants, performing laboratory analysis, light maintenance and management of chemicals and other products. The job required advance knowledge of water production, in addition to diligence, good organization skills and the ability to prioritize.   I worked under the administration of the municipality’s technical office. My job included making Lappajärvi municipality’s water supply’s development plan and preparing a plan for groundwater protection. Both tasks required collecting a great amount of source material and subsequent analysis.
