Investigating accidents, incidents, near misses and then reporting on the immediate, underlying and root causes. Attending weekly site manager meetings and following up on any issues raised. Compiling monthly H&S progress reports. Liaising with project managers, site managers, principal designers and estate managers on all aspects of work. Issuing permits to break ground, confined space works and hot works permits. Supervising demolition, infrastructure and remediation work of asbestos and TPH contaminated land. Applying for water abstraction/ impoundment licenses. Consulting with the Environment agency. Site inspections.
