  Life kitchen’s has opened up my project base to deal face to face with both contract and residential clients, liaising with architects, interior designers, developers and end consumers to create functional kitchens ranging from low to high end projects. My key responsibilities are to lead the kitchen project team to interpretate concepts from initial brief stage to full installation. Working closely with the designers based at the London showroom and the northern manufacturing and installation team, I take client concepts to create the finalised 3D renders, product breakdowns and technical drawings to ensure the installation of the projects run effectively and smoothly; giving clients a reliable and pleasant customer experience, ensuring repeat business. Software capabilities included: AutoCAD, Google SketchUP, iRender, Adobe Photoshop, Compusoft Winner, EQ, Virtual Worlds, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. • Interpreting briefs from clients to create initial 3D concepts using Winner, creating realistic 3D renders • Creating product breakdowns and costings using EQ • Detailed concept presentations with product breakdowns and costings • Meeting with end consumers when required to gain an understanding of requirements and budgets to create a realised brief • Presenting concepts to clients, whether it be a group presentation or 1 on 1 • Producing detailed technical drawings for the manufacturing factory and for the installation team • Creating technical drawings for manufacture for bespoke products • Giving clients a tour of both the design centre and the manufacturing facilities to engage in the company capabilities, presence and industry knowledge • Finalising concepts and technical drawings from the southern design team based in London Show less

  Reporting directly to the Strategic Design Manager and Managing Director, my main responsibility was to provide creative support and input across all aspects of the agency and the KBB sector. This ranged across a diverse and demanding customer base covering market analysis, concept development & realisation,of range generation, photography, store/exhibition displays, technical information and product communication. The breadth of work required enabled myself to lead New Product Development with key customer accounts, liaising very closely between customers and suppliers to secure new product ranges and continuously improve sales with existing customer ranges. Market place knowledge with consumer needs and industry trends (both within the UK and Europe) played a key role in moving forward with new and existing customers and secured the agencies relevance within the industry. Responsibilities also included frequent travel predominantly to Italy and Germany to support and assist meetings between customers and suppliers, for both existing and perspective customers. UK and European design exhibitions were also paramount for remaining up to date with current and future trends. As the creative designer, I created trend reports which were presented and shared with our suppliers and customers, influencing our abilities to offer innovative furniture ranges, current in todays market and future longevity for consumers.
