Jon is an absolute asset to any team. I had the pleasure of working with him while on two projects at GDS, Verify and the GOV.UK website. Able to competently answer and field any security related questions it was a surprise to learn that he was still on his apprenticeship. Methodical, curious and considerate, always smiling and bringing good energy to any discussion, I've seen Jon pick up technologies and ideas quickly. Jon was tasked with analysis of a number of events while on Verify. This demonstrated good knowledge AWS technologies and a strong awareness of business needs in respect to security. His knowledge of SSL/TLS and CA hierarchy provided confidence to those he worked alongside and I understand he has since added Splunk solutions to his repertoire. It'd be a pleasure to work with him again in the future and I strongly recommend him for any security related position that he is willing to put his attention on.

Hi, I worked with Jon-Michael Pitt for approximately 1 year in 2018, whilst he was a Cyber Security Apprentice, and I was a product manager at Government Digital Service. Jon always proved himself to be a dependable employee, with solid problem solving and technical skills.
