  I worked with Korean and Chinese high school students in small groups or one-on-one to enhance learning of core subjects. At this school, I wrote my own lessons to correlate with the private school teacher's plans. This was a high-level academic environment and teachers were expected to help students excel in their home school academics, of which I did. I gained valuable experience teaching students whose first language is not English.
