Responsibilities include the preparation and lodgement of all compliance obligations for all structures including companies, trusts, partnerships, superannuation funds and high wealth individuals. Most of our clients operate businesses with turnover of $2m-$50m. My duties include, but not limited to; - Processing, when required, and review financial statements, tax returns and other reports prepared by junior staff utilising various accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Reckon and XPA. - Preparation of management reports and financial models/dashboards including traffic light dashboard reports, three-way forecasts and other reports for clients' board/Director meetings. - Training junior staff on various accounting topics and operational procedures to assist with optimising internal processes and consistency in output. - Processing and maintaining clients' ledgers and payroll function, including month or quarter-end reconciliations, preparing and posting payroll and satisfying ongoing compliance requirements with the ATO. - Ongoing assistance to clients to manage their payroll, reconcile their accounts payable/receivable, GST and ad-hoc as required. - Liaising with the ATO to implement payment arrangements, vary lodgement obligations and dispute issues on the clients behalf.
