Working as a Buyer for the RNLI, based at their HQ in Poole. I have had the pleasure on working on numerous projects and have been recognised for my work in a Shannon class Lifeboat naming ceremony. Successfully provided the Procurement lead for the transfer of SAR Composites manufacturing to our in house facility. Ensuring all materials required were available in time and that all the data was captured for Procurement. Purchasing capital equipment and other ad-hoc purchases. I am the Procurement Superuser for the RNLI with our new system, Microsoft Dynamics which has involved testing, developing, training, process map writing and support. This is alongside procuring for the Production of Lifeboats both in the All-Weather Lifeboat Center and the Inshore Lifeboat Center. I was also a key player in integration of moving the Shannon Class Lifeboat fit out in house and the transfer of knowledge from the previous boat manufacturer, making sure that materials were available to both in order to keep the boat build schedule running. I have looked after various commodities, from nuts and bolts through to engines and core materials required for manufacturing. Great stakeholder management has been key in my time at the RNLI and I have been fortunate enough to touch on all aspects of the RNLI family.
