  During my training contract with Eldan Law LLP, I was exposed to a wide range of construction-related disputes involving:• the duty of certifiers and the grounds for setting aside certificates;• restraining the call on a performance bond;• extensions of time and concurrent delays;• the Architect's duty to supervise and consequences arising from the death of the architect;• issues regarding buildability of design, possession of the site, the duty to cooperate and whether the contractor proceeded with due diligence; and• timelines for arbitration and adjudication and notice provisions I also assisted on issues of civil procedure involving taxation of costs, setting aside injunctions, and extensions of time to file a statement of claim as well as with legal advice on the fiduciary duties of members of the MCST councils and on the contractor's extent of liability for consequential losses under the standard form construction contracts.
