The company has aggressively grown ten-fold over the past several years. • Position was newly created to assist CFO with the volume of work associated with multiple, new acquisitions. • Responsible for over 30 employees across ten plants and the supervision of seven division controllers across four time zones with various ERP systems. • Managed monthly/quarterly financial closing and performed analytical/variance review process ensuring accuracy and consistency across all operations. Conducted monthly financial review calls with each location, the CFO and CEO. • Worked closely with all acquisitions to assimilate accounting functions, address technical issues, map the chart of accounts for consolidation, and generate purchase accounting and opening balance sheet adjustments. • Recruited, interviewed, hired and onboarded a new senior accountant and AP associate with an eye on expanding a shared services business model for AR and AP across multiple locations. • Assumed ownership of the intercompany account reconciliation process in order to accelerate the monthly closing process.
