  As a member of the Test Planning department, I was involved in the design, development and implementation of cost-effective test strategies on both new products and for rationalisation on existing products. I provided second-line support to all test stages, was involved in several productivity and quality improvement teams and, where necessary, designed and built hardware. I developed applications using National Instruments CVI to control in-house items of functional test equipment by means of GPIB and PC interface cards. I also developed applications for the GenRad GR60 modular flat-board testers using Visual BASIC.
