Jonathan Hopkins is an amazing commander and leader. His near superhuman ability to consume and retain a wide breadth of information and then utilize that information to inform his decision making sets him far apart from his peers. He is a unique combination of being a student of history and and a decisive actor in it. His positive attitude and leadership style only strengthen the team around him and directly contribute towards achieving success. He is a steady and informed leader of character and it was my distinct honor to work with him in and out of the Army.
