There are far too many positive things I can say about Jonathan, that I don't know where exactly to begin in writing this recommendation for him. Beginning chronologically, I first met Jonathan while working with him as animators at Image Metrics. There I knew him as a strong, dedicated employee, a good friend, and a positive, upbeat, and fun presence in the office. His work was superb, and despite how the company might have taken advantage of him, he remained a model employee. Over the course of time we would both end up leaving Image Metrics, but would eventually end up working for Hydrogen Whiskey together. All of his positive traits had grown, especially in regard to his skills as an animator. Although he wasn't on my team, he was always my first go-to guy when I needed help. Jonathan, always ahead on his own work, would always oblige. Always he worked quickly, dependably, and never sacrificed quality. The man was a life saver for me. Furthermore, even though he was just an animator (not a lead or senior) he possessed impressive foresight into his team's tasks and the project as a whole, even though though animators weren't supposed to concern themselves with those matters. By being attentive and vocal on his insights (though never stepping out-of-line), he saved his team a lot of agony down the line. It didn't take long for his expertise to get noticed, and he was soon promoted to lead of his team. And no person better deserved it more, as he made his team more sufficient, better acclimated to the project, and far easier to work with. As the Tech Team lead, I can profess that after Jon had become lead on his animation team it was like night and day - their work had improved ten-fold, and integrating their work into the engine was far less of a burden. Unfortunately, no matter how much I write here will do justice to Jonathan. It should be noted that I am writing this review not because he requested it of me, but because I insisted I would write one for him. That's the sort of guy he is - you'll want to write him a positive recommendation. Knowing Jonathan in and out of the office, I know for sure you couldn't ask for a better person to work with, a person more responsible to work for you, or a greater person to call your friend. Without a doubt, I would work with or for Jonathan again if the opportunity presented itself.

I worked with Jon over at Image-Metrics on the same projects and have to say he was a great person to work with. He's easy to get along with and has a strong work ethic. Jon's a talented animator and is always striving to learn as much as he can about animation. I recommend working with him and hope to work with Jon again in the future.
