Reduced campus-wide disciplinary incidents by 47.8% (171 to 85) during the 1st semester by implementing a school-wide, proactive, and progressive behavioral plan for our unique population and campus’ needs. Decreased the number of major SPED and 504 disciplinary referrals by 20% (combined) during the first semester by consistently collaborating with the SPED administrator and behavioral interventionist to develop an individualized counseling program for SPED and 504 behavioral students. Streamlined the SBLC processes and record keeping to ensure that the 7% of Individualized Accommodation Plans on campus were updated, data-supported, and compliant with Louisiana’s Section 504 Laws. Led monthly SBLC meetings as the sitting Chairperson and collaborated with various stakeholders to identify, recommend, collect relevant data, and increase the number of 504 accommodated students from 4% (October 2022) to 7% (April 2023). Assisted the guidance counseling team with reviewing SPED and 504 students’ LEAP 2025 testing accommodations and imputing their data into DRC before Spring 2023 LEAP testing. Increased three targeted teachers’ Spring COMPASS scores by at least 15% (3.3+) compared to the Fall by continuing routine classroom walkthroughs, providing relevant feedback, and offering teacher-specific instructional support.
