  Planning and execution of Operations for 300 personnel in an operational environment in the UK and overseas. Management of a newly built team of 20 specialists, and ensured the delivery of all secure communications for a regiment of over 450 people in office environments and when deployed on operational deployments overseas. Managed the compliance of sensitive accounts, and made it fully compliant for external audits. A highlight of this role was the development and innovation of a new £8m communications plan and system to deploy a battlegroup into a new operational theatre in Mali. This created a highly reliable and secure communications system that allowed 250 troops to speak across a country in harsh conditions at all times to pass information to and from a headquarters. In addition, I accounted for and managed £4m worth of equipment and a team of 30 people.

  Specially selected to fill a new liaison role in the British Embassy to deliver Ministry intent in country. Provided access to Egyptian key stakeholders through organically nurtured relationships which allowed senior Defence and Foreign Office staff unprecedented access to the Egyptian Ministry of Defence. • Coordination of bilateral activity across Egypt and across four government departments; forging a strong reputation and tight links across the Egyptian Ministry of Defence and numerous foreign embassies. • Intelligence briefings to senior military commanders and civil servants, organising high level conferences between diverse elements of Egyptian and British Government and management of Foreign Office private contracts. • Delivered situation reporting up to Permanent Secretary Level, including monthly reporting to Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff for Defence Engagement. • Developed the UK Department for International Trade (Defence) in Egypt through facilitation of meetings between UK national firms and senior Egyptian Defence acquisition specialists.
