Designed and implemented the Redshift Management Console from scratch, including participation in design of backend services to support novel query visualization and database performance views. Member of Amazon Aurora Launch Team (2015). Designed and implemented major upgrades to the RDS console in order to support Aurora and radically enhance visualization of database performance across all supported engines. Participated in and drove AWS-wide initiatives to standardize interface appearance and implementation across dozens of console teams. Wrote and maintained several internal shared libraries consumed by multiple teams across AWS. Frequently served as a technical consultant for other console teams.Played key roles in successfully driving many major cross-project team initiatives, including: performance optimization (resulting in team consoles being among the top most performant at AWS), tablet usability conversion, design and implementation of end-to-end test framework to enable continuous delivery, consolidation of code across projects into shared frameworks, dramatically increasing unit test coverage, and actively mentoring interns and new hires.
