Maintained relationships with long=standing national clients through successful project execution and partnerships. These clients were primarily large financial services institutions and establish tech companies. Oversaw and managed junior staff both in office and in remote locations. Guidance during Design Development and Construction Documentation was especially critical. Actively mentored junior staff in both formal presentations and one-on-one learning opportunities. Primarily focused on industry and firm standards for construction documents. Held multiple roles within a single project, including project manager and senior designer. Would provide overall design direction oversaw development, 3D visualizations / Renderings were designed and executed personally for many projects. Served as the "first line of defense" in reviewing the accuracy of construction documentation, In respect to firm drawing standards, national and municipal building codes, and the firm wide QA/QC process. Would often provide reviews of construction sets in other regions. My long tenor at NELSON afforded me the opportunity to take part in several firm-wide initiatives over the years. This included the development of CAD and REVIT standards, creation of a firm-wide detail detail library, and responsibility for the maintenance and improvement of the firm wide master specification. Primarily responsible for project construction documentation on a wide range of commercial projects. Worked under the senior staff to produce design concept drawings and renderings for client presentations Under the direct supervision of the senior technical managing principal, performed code analysis of projects being permitted, with special attention to NYC building codes and regulations. Additionally, we co-analyzed zoning regulations (specifically NYC) when project requirements demanded as such. Served as the IT coordinator for the firm - performing maintenance an upgrades, advising the partners on all pertinent technology issues, and oversaw the IT consultant responsible for our network infrastructure.
