PLC and HMI application development, troubleshooting, implementation and startup. Recent projects: • Madison-Kipp Corporation Ignition and PLC integration of ABB robots, CNCs, OEM equipment, and part tracking. • Patrick Cudahy, Cudahy Programmed PLC and created HMI to control 6 drying rooms. Automated drying process to improve product quality. Controlled vendor skid equipment through ethernet communications. • MaltEurop, Milwaukee Programmed and automated 12 motor trollies to mix and unload 50 ton batches of germinating malt. • Pro Engineering, Milwaukee Designed and programmed PLC and HMI controls for a 600 bottle / minute, 7 temperature zones pasteurizer. • Industrial Thermal Systems (ITS), Milwaukee Adapted large aluminum annealing system to water quench within a tight time range. Programmed addition of second oven and furnace to double capacity. • Saint Paul Bridge, Milwaukee Added redundancy PLC CPU and associated equipment. Started equipment and tested during a 4 hour window.

I was the one man crew that designed, engineered, wired, programmed, and administrated the SCADA upgrade of the 18 million gallon per day North Shore Water Commission's surface water plant. As an in-house resource I was familiar with the process and was able to keep process interruptions near zero. Maintain and upgrade all aspects of the plant technology including: Allen Bradley Compact Logix PLC / and Bristol Babcock RTUs. Install and program PLCs to meet plant needs. Create and update HMI screens for Open Enterprise, PanelView Plus, and Parker Automation devices. Manage LAN, WAN, and VPN connections. Upgrade SCADA system from Bristol Babcock 3300 series to current generation of Controlwave Micro RTUs and Allen Bradley Compact Logix.
