Owen Coyle
Jon delivered some incredible work when we worked together at IG Masonry Support. He really understands complex construction drawings and has a great passion for his work.
Adam Twigg
Jonathan is one of the most professional, reliable and hardworking colleagues I’ve ever had the pleasure to work alongside. Work rate and output is certainly high on his agenda along with the mentality for progression. I’m sure he would excel in whatever he chooses to do.

Senior Technical Detailer
-
Apr 2016 - Jan 2020
Started the position as Technical Detailer in April 2016 and within two years I have been made a Senior where it is my responsibility to train and manage other members of the team as well as other responsibilities. My main role is to draw approval, construction and manufacturing drawings for bespoke products in the construction industry. These products ranged from Masonry Support systems, feature brick lintels, arches and a number of other products. My other role was to manage all the projects drawings and ensure that the clients needs are met. this involved going to site for installation instructions, design meetings and general project update meetings. I have been lucky enough to work on some great projects that range across a wide variety of products that have been nominated for and won some awards. Show less

Project Manager

Jun 2011 - Apr 2016
Originally a two month contract to help with a US project for Sears and Kmart space planning that involved AutoCAD to develop floor plans of their entire estate, this involved details of the store fixtures, planograms and zoning of the stores. I quickly moved up within the team from QA to team leader to eventually Project Manager for two other US Projects, Family Dollar and Advanced Auto in December 2011. Since this time I have managed a range of projects including Marks and Spencer’s (Food Hall and General Merchandise), Heaton’s, Wall-Mart (US) and most recently Morrison’s. Each of these projects has required different skills which I have learnt or adapted too. During my time I have managed large teams of up to 15 people on several different projects. Show less

I originally started here on a work experience position for two weeks but was asked to stay on part time while i finished school and later completed my college degree. After finishing my college degree I started working full time for just over a year until I started my Degree at Lincoln University for Architecture. During my time here I learnt a lot of things including Auto Cad, construction design, and management of drawings and construction projects. I dealt with residential drawings from disabled access drawings to working drawings for housing estates. Show less
