Jonathan Hanen is a talented freelance writer whose work I have had the pleasure of editing at Capital Research Center. Jonathan brings a political consultant's instincts to investigating the political activity of left-wing advocacy groups and the foundations that fund them, and uses his extensive knowledge of political theory to expose the ideology and unsound policy prescriptions of the Left. He would be an asset to any conservative 501c3, 501c4, 527, or public affairs organization.

I hired Jonathan at a time when my campaign was reeling. My original campaign manager and several volunteers had left the campaign. Jonathan came in and quickly assessed what needed to be done to keep the campaign on track. He was able to quickly identify and hire an assistant campaign manager. Jonathan created a schedule for the campaign and worked to keep us focused on the schedule. He has extensive experience working on different campaigns and brought with him both fresh ideas and time-tested strategies. Most importantly, I never had to worry that he or his team might commit a gaffe that would set my campaign back. He worked tirelessly 24/7 for six months. He, of course, excelled at the high level strategic analysis of the district, but most importantly he put himself squarely behind every task whether it was the mundane such as making phone calls or stuffing envelopes. Although the end result was not what we wanted, I highly recommend Jonathan for his high level strategic work, but also for his willingness to do whatever it took to move the campaign forward. Jonathan will be an asset to whomever he works for in the future.
