  At Poplar Ridge, I worked with Evan Wolfe, a local minister to develop my preaching skills and also my ability to coordinate and lead small groups. Throughout the summer, I evaluated the health of Poplar Ridge’s small groups and helped create and teach at a Small Group Leader Training Camp. I also preached there over the summer. I also volunteered to help with a number of the summer events Poplar Ridge Hosted which included a July 4th celebration called Freedom Fest.   I served as a Construction intern in Prestonsburg KY. My main role was not constructing itself, but rather supervising construction and divvying out tasks to members of churches according to the respective projects. I also led small groups every night and led members on group hikes every Wednesday.   There I served as an interim youth minister, planning events over the summer and teaching every Wednesday night. Furthermore, I played piano every Sunday and planned a few of the worship service.
