Bio
Ryan Reynolds
When Jon came to join us at the The Void, he immediately brought with him a breadth of knowledge and experience he was eager to share. Because of his engineering class in golang, I have since picked it up on my own time and have really enjoyed working with the language. In addition to his knowledge, he was always a great collaborator and architect, contributing to the teams' discussions on how to solve problems. He has a very pragmatic approach to problem solving; weighing the pros and cons, priority and value of different solutions. It was always good to hear him explore an approach verbally. He will be missed, but I know that he'll be an asset to any team that wants an intelligent, hard-working software engineer that can collaborate as well as put his head down and get the job done.
Merrick Christensen
Jonathan is the most gifted developer I've ever met. His deep understanding of computer architecture, physics and mathematics lands him far ahead of the average programmer. He is a true engineer without limitation to a particular technical stack or domain. He is creative, kind and easy to work with. If I were to start a business, Jonathan would be the first developer I would actively recruit.
