As the Internal Communications lead in the London office, I was responsible for delivering engaging corporate communications across multiple sites whilst maintaining the relationship between the function and Executive Committee. I created bespoke communications campaigns for senior management, provided strong technical knowledge of communications best practice and lead London engagement events such as the CEO Town Halls and employee forums. Key highlights include: • Delivered key sensitive communications before, during and after three major acquisitions. Created messages on behalf of the CEO and the executive team which were broadcast to the whole business, and ensured stakeholders in the London office were well informed at all stages of the transactions, including the ongoing integration of assets into the Phoenix profile. • With the Internal Communications team, launched a new double award-winning intranet, championed new features and influenced the increased online collaboration through demonstrations, bespoke training sessions and high impact 1:1s. Strengthened the understanding of SharePoint for our functional champions through coaching, sharing communication best practice and demonstrating new functionality. This influenced a 44% increase in activity on the company newsfeed, a 35% increase in poll votes and 57% increase in news articles by authoring engaging content. • Curated Phoenix’s digital strategy which encompassed ownership of the Group corporate website and social media accounts. As a result, growth on company social media accounts in 2016 exceeded the target by 133% and reached the targeted growth in September for 2017. The increased growth and revamped digital strategy contributed to Phoenix's Resourcing team achieving a direct recruitment rate of 80% through social media, and one campaign featuring in ‘Marketing Week’.
