    • Producer, BMJ product development
      • Apr 2015 - Present

I led user research on digital and print products, and made BMJ's product development and user testing run smoothly.• I designed and carried out a research program for a major veterinary journal. My research led to the appointment of a new editor, an overhaul of the magazine’s content and a redesign of its look and feel. In follow-up research, reader comments were approximately 90% positive, including “fresh”, “contemporary” and “a huge positive difference”.• I won support from senior hospital staff to shadow doctors working in hospital wards. From this first-hand ethnographic research I gained insight into the everyday lives of some of BMJ’s most important user segments. • I won two internal employee awards in 2016, including one for keeping stakeholders informed about research on their product.
