Please review resume for specific details: I am looking for a new role because my contract to hire, turned into an extension, and I am looking for a direct hire position for long term growth and success. It is a very "oldschool" companies not rising to the current times. As a quality productions supervisor of a small company, I wore many hats. I used my science knowledge to perform tests for possible contaminations in the product, created new SOPs and procedures for producing, filling and labeling product. I worked closely with the owners as well to assist with general office duties, inventory, and marketing efforts. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit everyone hard and while we were able to whether the storm for some time, some employees had to be let go. I pursued a position with a growing Cannabis Company, and worked at the Corporate headquarters in downtown Chicago. This was my first entry into a strictly office job, and over time my job roles changed and much more travel was needed. Due to some family health issues and a changing job description, I had to make a decision. I enjoyed working for the company, and learned many lessons from my time at rapidly growing company with rapidly changing needs like the the importance of communication, and consistency. Show less

This was a position in the Research and Development group. I learned many more lab skills and honed the ones I had. Unfortunately budget limitations led to a one year contract role without possibility of extenison. This was a position in the Research and Development group. While attending NEIU, I knew that getting involved was very important. I volunteered over the course of a year in the greenhouse. This included oversight of the hydroponics system and monitoring settings for controlled student/class experiments, as well as system care and maintenance. While my focus is not in plants, I enjoyed the time I spent learning about plants and aiding students experiments in the hydroponic lab. Working at HPCC was a great experience and I was able to put many of the skills I had learned at Culinary School into practice. But entering school, I was unable to continue a Full time job with a multi hour commute to and from school. • Sous Chef
      • 2010 - 2012

Sous Chef, or Assistant Kitchen Manager, was a great position to start in the area as I had just moved back from Colorado. Strawberry Creek Country Club is a private Club located near Kenosha in Wisconsin, just over the Illinois state border. As Sous Chef I helped design menus, manage inventory and cost controls, hire and schedule employees just to name a few of my responsibilities.
