MedTech project - Development of an embedded device which monitor fetal ECG during childbirth. The device is based on a, by i3tex developed, hardware platform including an STM32 Arm Cortex-M4 processor. The embedded software is divided into a bootloader and an application which analyses the fetal ECG. My main contribution to the project has been to design and implement parts of the embedded software(C++), perform digital signal processing (the Cortex-M4's DSP library and Matlab), and to develop parts of a PC-based test environment (C#). During my time at RUAG Space I was working with development, testing, and verification in a project group with a goal of developing a GPS/Gallileo satellite tracker. I was working with several different parts of the project but my main task was to write a compiler for a, by RUAG developed, ASIC with approximately 30 instructions. The programming language used by the compiler was a combination of assembler and C and the compiler was later used by myself and other project members when developing the software for the GPS/Gallileo satellite tracker. My responsibilities also involved testing and verification of the tracker and I helped developed a java based test environment. Show less

MecApp is a software, developed by Mecel, used for testing different Bluetooth protocols against for example a mobile phone. I was working with a project that explored the possibility of using a high-level programming language to automate testing of MecApp test cases. The work I did included C, C++, and Python programming as well as working with COM objects. The Betula is a product which significantly simplifies the implementation of Bluetooth technology in mainly the automotive industry. The Betula product can for example be use to implement Bluetooth connectivity in a GPS gadget so that its touch screen can be used to answer calls etc. During my time at Mecel, I was working with testing of Bluetooth protocols and testing before delivery to customer. I also reviewed and updated Mecel’s template for Bluetooth testing of mobile phones.
