Jon Mcintosh and I worked together on a large program with high visibility, political robustness and one of the most critical in PTC’s history. His attention to detail, intuition and expansive vision into all facets of the program were consistently spot-on and created a cohesiveness no matter the challenges that we faced. I’ve worked in the Project/Program Management field for many years, and Jon is by far one of the best PM’s I’ve had the honor of collaborating with. Jon is a committed individual; both to the clients he supports and to the firm he is employed. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Jon within a PMO I led and also as a peer. Regardless of reporting structure, Jon was a steady, constant performer who didn’t play politics and always had his clients best interests in mind as he led the team to a successful outcome. Where others would cave at management pressure, Jon would not. He considered the client projects he managed as if they were his own business; he understood them thoroughly. This was important to Jon so he could provide the best council to his clients and also to the supporting stakeholders. He went over and above on commitment, many times sacrificing personal time and comfort to maintain peace and stability at clients. I recall a time when he wouldn’t take time off until I firmly understood the situation and could sit in during his absence. Internally at PTC, Jon was passionate about supporting internal initiatives that promoted team unity, process consistency, communications and overall health of the organization.
