Responsible for initial contact with client base, generating new inquiries from the marketplace, my responsibility is to take through the tender process submitting competitive bids, value engineering, negotiation and presentation in design and build proposals.Overseeing surveying and financial responsibilities for all residential projects.Strong negotiating skills with both clients and supply chain lead to end product with value for money. I then oversee and take responsibility for the design process submitting CAD drawings and full proposals for approval, leading my team of in-house CAD engineers and procurement teams.Once all drawings and documents are submitted and approved i can ensure smooth hand-over to the contract engineers whilst offering advice and support throughout the installation process and producing applications to project surveyor.

Senior Estimator

During my time at Harris Electrical, I trained from a junior level and progressed through the ranks to run my own estimating department. This included training an assistant who progressed from Junior to intermediate Estimator level. He now runs his own Estimating division at a local contractors. I was responsible for securing approximately half the annual turn over which assisted in the development and growth of the company. With a mixture of Residential, Commercial and Light Industrial projects including Distribution Networks, Lighting & Power, Fire Alarms, Security & Access Control, Data Systems, Fibre Optics secured and designed the diversity of projects helped to shape a strong base of invaluable knowledge in the Electrical Contracting Industry working for a diverse range of clients.
