I am a contractor who operator and maintains his own personal vehicle .I Coordinate with the live App and management to receive alerts on where to drive. Follow Gps to Pick up and Deliver Fresh meals across Edmonton. Following confusing or lack of any instruction. finding the customer and many times dealing with a late or missing persons. who's lack of effort effects the time I have to make money delivering. But always being curious and polite. every shift there's some if not hours of Heavy traffic, other drivers, weather conditions, the physical road and its condition. Late night early morning shifts usually shifts are extendable. We have the ability to pick up open shifts at any time one becomes available. So technically always on call. Depending on attitude the job can take up a good amount of time and energy. Show less

I was doing Maintenance calls for Tervita or Canfor. I worked mostly alone Running between Tervita's Grande Prairie and peace river fields. I drove a F-350 welding rig with tools . I did any and every typeof Maintenance job they had. We removed 4" 1500 piping without and crane and installed 2500 rtj on the shutdown. Fixed lines that had corroded through, either with temporary banding Sleeves or new pipe. I built Fibre glass spools for tervita. did structural welding and did 24hrs a day on call, cause you never knew. For Canfor we work for the steam generation plant. I for my first time ever, pulled out and reinstalled an inflow 100ft 3ft x 3ft conveyor system with drive and modified another outside on shutdown. I did lost of structural welding and fixing on the fly... not much pipe work. Canfor was the most dangerous job site I've ever worked on. This role was the most dangerous ever had in all my years fitting but I definitely learn a lot while being on my own. Show less
