  "September 13th, 2016, a date that joined the destiny of 17 roads in a town lost among the mountains of Gipuzkoa. The beginning of a mixture of dreams and a unique opportunity to undertake the greatest adventure of our lives. And that’s is the beginning of something that is about to start.” Why Kunama? The name emerged in one of our long debates at the beginning of the first year. We were looking for a name, a name that was going to represent us the next four years, and in that moment was when we came up with KUNAMA. An African tribe from Western Eritrea, which is based on equality since they do not distinguish social differences, where the figure of women is respected and as well as the Basque Language (Euskera), the Kunama language it is an unofficial language that has been kept alive by the people living in the area. By reading all these characteristics was when we realised that KUNAMA was the perfect name to represent who we are for the following years. Currently, the team is build by 11 individuals who are still searching for a common goal: Finding our dreams and making them come true. Show less
